About the Author

Meet Michèle

Michèle Laframboise feeds coffee grounds to her garden plants, runs long distances and writes full-time in Mississauga, ON. Fascinated by science and nature since she could walk, Michèle draws from her scientific background to create worlds filled with humour, invention, and wonder.

So far, she has published 20 novels and 90+ short stories in magazines, among those Asimov’s, Analog, Future SF, Abyss & Apex, OnSpec, Solaris and Galaxies. A multi-award-winning author and comic artist, Michèle creates a wide range of literary flavors, from hard-to-soft chocolate SF to romances and contemporary women's fictions celebrating friendship. All those will stay with you for a long time!

As publishing houses tend to flop behind her like those rope bridges in adventure movies, she runs faster forward, offering more stories through her indie-pub house Echofictions.
